Terms & conditions
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using Foundly, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the service.
2. What Foundly is
Foundly is a subscription platform giving you access to a library of business ideas, business models, and community content, built to help you discover and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities.
3. Accounts and access
Access to Foundly is granted only after your subscription payment is completed. Each account is personal and non-transferable: you're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Subscription, billing, and refunds
The subscription costs $5 USD per month (or $29 USD per year on the annual plan) and renews automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; Foundly never stores your card details. You can cancel your subscription anytime from your profile, and you'll keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Payments already made are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not share your account with others, resell access, or copy, scrape, or redistribute Foundly's content outside the platform.
6. Intellectual property
All content available on Foundly (text, ideas, business models, branding, and design) is owned by Foundly or its licensors. You're granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive license to access it for as long as your subscription stays active.
7. Content is for informational purposes
Foundly's content is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. Any business decision you make based on this content is at your own risk.
8. Service availability
We work to keep Foundly available at all times, but the service may face interruptions for maintenance or other reasons. Content may be updated, changed, or removed without prior notice.
9. Account termination
We may suspend or cancel your account if you breach these terms or if your payment fails to go through. You can also close your account at any time by cancelling your subscription.
10. Limitation of liability
Foundly is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of the content or from business decisions made based on it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll notify you by email or within the platform. Continuing to use Foundly after a change means you accept it.
Privacy policy
1. What data we collect
We collect your email address, a name derived from your email, your preferred language, and your subscription status (including customer and subscription identifiers assigned by Dodo Payments). We never collect or store your payment card details: that's handled directly by Dodo Payments.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to create and authenticate your account, link your payment to your platform access, show you content in your preferred language, and reach out about your account or subscription when needed.
3. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in Supabase, our database and infrastructure provider, with restricted access and encryption in transit.
4. Local session in your browser
To keep you signed in, we store a session token and your language preference in your browser's local storage. The session token is removed when you sign out.
5. Who we share your data with
We share the minimum data necessary with Dodo Payments (to process your subscription) and Supabase (as our infrastructure provider). We never sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you can cancel your account and subscription at any time from your profile.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account stays active. If you request account deletion, we'll delete or anonymize your personal data unless we're required to retain it for legal or billing reasons.
8. Children
Foundly isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We'll post any changes on this same page along with the update date.
